Colorado, also known as the Centennial State, is in the Rocky Mountains and bordered by New Mexico, Wyoming, Arizona, Oklahoma, Kansas, Utah and Nebraska. Colorado is a popular place to vacation, with its picturesque landscapes composed of rivers, plains and mountains. For those planning to visit Colorado with children, there are many things to see and do, from amusements and museums to historical tours.Children’s Museum of DenverThe Children’s Museum of Denver is an interactive, hands-on and educational center designed with kids in mind. The museum consists of 11 permanent exhibits and focuses on children from newborns to age 8. Some of the most popular attractions at the museum include Alphabet Soup, where kids can play with large letters, words and numbers on a massive magnetic board; Click Clack Train Track, where kids can make their own train tracks and use critical thinking skills; and My Market, where kids can learn the importance of good nutrition.
