OverviewA dog needs a place that is quiet, warm and dry in order to stay healthy. You can buy a training crate or dog bed, or you can make a suitable dog bed by just following some simple guidelines offered by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).Step 1Choose a warm, quiet location that is far away from drafty windows or doors.Step 2Put a clean pillow or blanket inside a wooden crate or box. Make sure that the box is big enough for your dog to turn around in.Step 3Place a ticking clock beneath the blanket if the bed is for puppies. It will remind them of their mother’s heartbeat and make them more relaxed and comfortable.Step 4Shade the bed’s location if it is located outdoors. Make sure it will stay cool in hot weather and warm and dry in cold, rainy weather.Step 5Wash the blanket or pillow often, and replace it as needed. It is important for your dog’s health that the bedding is clean and fresh.skill1ingredientBlanket or pillow
