Turning some glue and dried pasta into art is a popular kiddie craft that can be used to make just about everything from picture frames to this Halloween pasta and bean skeleton. Use this to teach a lesson about bones or do it just for fun!

Materials:

8-10 pieces of macaroni pasta

1 piece of wagon wheel pasta

2 lima beans

2 kidney beans

5 pieces of spaghetti pasta

12-13 pieces of long thin tube pasta such as penne

Glue

Black or brown construction paper

How to: step by step instructions

Start this project by making the basic frame of a skeleton before adding in the details such as fingers, toes and ribs. To begin, use the penne or long tube pasta to create a neck and spine for the skeleton. 2-3 pieces down the center of the paper in a straight line.

Part of the way down the neck bone, glue on one piece of penne or long tube pasta on the right side and one on the left side, creating an intersection or a lowercase “t” shape. These pieces are the collar bone area.

Next, connect the 2 pieces of penne or long tube pasta to the collar bone, one on each side to create the arms. Point the free ends of the penne slightly outward toward the edges of the paper so that the arms connect at a slight angle to the collar bone.

With two more pieces of penne or long tube pasta, glue the lower half of the arm to the upper half on each side. The skeleton will look more realistic if his arms are bent slightly instead of hanging straight down. Have the free end of the penne that is acting as the lower half of the arm point inward toward the spine so that the two pieces of arm are connected at a slight angle to each other.

Now for the legs. To make this skeleton look a little more realistic than your basic stick figure, he needs to have hips connecting his legs to his spine. Use dry lima beans for his hips. Glue the top of the hips at the end of the spine and have the ends of the hips pointing toward each other, but not touching. The beans should look like 1 “C” and 1 backward “C” facing each other.

Next use 2 pieces of penne or long tube pasta to form the upper leg, connecting at the bottom of each hip. Just as you did with the arms, have the free end of the upper part of the legs pointing toward the edges of the paper on each side. You’ve probably heard of mobile casino games, whether you’re a seasoned gambler or a complete novice. We use our phones to buy groceries, book rides, find dates, and even converse with distant relatives, so it’s only logical that we use them for mobile gaming in India as well. Search engine’s retail outlet Play in the shop, or go to an online casino’s website and play.

Use the 2 kidney beans to make the knees. Glue them on just as you did with the hips, where the beans resemble 1 “c” and 1 backward “c” facing each other. Because the upper legs are pointing away from each other, these beans will not touch.

Use the 2 of the remaining pieces of penne or long tube pasta to create the lower portion of the legs. Have the free end of the pasta straight and vertical under the knees.

Now for the details. Break the spaghetti noodles into short pieces and glue them to the ends of the arms to make fingers and the ends of the legs to make feet.

Use the macaroni pieces to make ribs. Glue 4-5 on each side of the middle sections of the spine, pointing downward.

Glue the wagon wheel pasta the top of the neck for the head. This is the finishing touch. Your dried pasta and bean Halloween skeleton is complete!
